Fifty Words: Open Season

This week's Fifty Words challenge is up. I'm basically letting people submit whatever the hell they want this week. If I get the same response that I got last week, I'm going to chalk it up to a good idea that just didn't work and move on to bigger and better things. Or at least different things.

Hey, at least you tried -- that's the important thing. The goal is to make time for writing, even if it doesn't turn out the way you want it to.

Anyway, you've been very faithful to Fifty Words. I'm just not sure the whole concept (an online writer's group or a weekly writing meme or whatever the hell it is) is working.

I am sure some people love this idea, but as a non-writer I find it very difficult. Writing is a very personal thing, and you don't really want to be judged, even though I know you are not judging people's writing, it's always in the back of people's brains....
