New Year's resolutions are so 2005

I just looked at the New Year's resolutions I made last year and I don't think I could have been any more filled with crap if I'd tried. I had waaaay too much time on my hands a year ago.

Nice set of photography - I encountered it originally on Flickr.

In my search for wisdom (so far unfruitful), I learned several years ago to resolve to make no resolutions each new year. It has been the only resolution I have been able to keep.

Good words to you, as John Ciardi used to say.

(an odd footnote - I have not written John Ciardi's name in a long time. I wasn't sure of the spelling and did a Google search on "John Chardi" and discovered a web site where I posted a story I had written several years ago - I thought it was long lost - not that losing it would be a disaster. Story now retreived)
